Sosa Henkoma

Sosa Henkoma is an award-winning Expert by Experience Consultant and passionate advocate against human trafficking and modern slavery. A member of the Human Trafficking Foundation since 2022, he draws on lived experience to inform consultancy, public speaking, mentoring, and training. Sosa has addressed international forums including the OSCE’s 25th Alliance Conference in Vienna and is currently studying Criminology and Sociology. As a founding member of LEAP and creator of EST (Everybody Stands Together), he works with organisations including the Metropolitan Police—to shape policy and empower survivors. Named Crime Fighter of the Year at Crime Con 2023, Sosa also serves as an Ambassador for Causeway and Make Life Kind, championing survivor-led change.

Sosa’s journey from experiencing criminal exploitation to advocating for change has shown him the power of mentorship. Sosa mentors young people who are at risk of, or are already facing exploitation. Sosa works with them to build their resilience, find their voice, unlock their full potential, and drive change in their own communities.

Sosa has trained law enforcement, local authorities and government bodies.
