Wumi Adegoke

As a Lived Experience Consultant, Wumi brings a unique intersection of lived experience of modern slavery and human trafficking, academic insight, and practical frontline knowledge of how businesses and civil society can address labour exploitation.

  

Wumi has extensive experience in survivor-led advocacy, public engagement, and organisational consultancy. She provides meaningful, strategic feedback to businesses to improve the impact of their modern slavery prevention approach.  

Wumi brings a first-hand understanding of the trauma and long-term impacts of exploitation, and a strong track record in research, stakeholder collaboration, and public advocacy.

Wumi holds a BSc degree in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and is an Operations Officer at the Freedom Fund.
